キング・クリムゾンの衝撃的なデビュー・アルバム『クリムゾン・キングの宮殿』の50周年記念エディションが10月にリリース。

「superdeluxeedition」によると、本作品は海外で10/18に200グラム重量盤アナログレコードが、10/25にCD3枚＋Blu-rayエディションが発売。

CD3枚＋Blu-rayエディションには、『クリムゾン・キングの宮殿』のスティーヴン・ウィルソンによる2019年ステレオ・ミックス、同作のオルタナティヴ・アルバムのエクスパンデッド・エディション、1969年ミックスのオリジナル・マスター・エディション&追加トラックなどが収録。
